The 38-year-old star has revealed on Sunday that she has the flu but as planned, she is determined to sing the National Anthem at the 2018 Super Bowl.
Pink who will be singing the ‘The Star Spangled Banner’ in Minneapolis, Minnesota is battling with the flu ahead of the big game. In an Instagram post on Saturday morning, she has revealed this news in a caption to the snap of herself at the rehearsals. While explaining that her 61/2-year-old daughter Willow Sage, as well as 13-month-old son Jameson Moon, were to be blamed for her sickness, she wrote: “Trying to practice the flu away.”
Pink said in her post that she has been waiting to sing the song since 1991 when she has seen her idol, Whitney Houston, own this song. She continued by saying that now, her chance has finally come and this chance comes when she has two small Petri dish kids who literally cough INTO HER MOUTH as well as rub their snot on her cheek. Pink concluded her post by saying that one of her dreams Is slowly becoming a sort of nightmare. While Pink has blamed her children for getting her sick she has also made it clear that she wasn’t holding any grudge.

If it’s a contest, babies, you win. #spreadthelove #spreadthegerms #pleasegivememyvoiceback #ificansingimgonnakillit.” On Twitter Friday, she has also shared a throwback photo of her with the 2018 Super Bowl Pepsi Halftime Show performer, Justin Timberlake as they posed backstage at the 2002 MTV VMAs and also Justin ha released his new album ‘Man of the Woods’, the following day. She wrote, “@jtimberlake oooh look who has a new record out!!! My super bowl partner!!!”
