New light has been thrown on R&B singer R Kelly’s controversial life.
The 51-year-old singer is the topic of a newly launched BBC3 documentary ‘R Kelly: Sex, Girls and Videotapes’— which has features an interview with his ex-girlfriend Kitti Jones.
Kitti— who has earlier come forward in the summer and fall of 2017 alleging Kelly controlled an ‘inner circle’ of women— of which she was once allegedly a victim of. She has earlier claimed that during their 2-year relationship, he has physically abused her and coerced her into performing sexual acts with him and other women.
In the documentary, Kitti has elaborated on the allegations that Kelly would ‘train’ women. She has said in the documentary that later when she was introduced to one of the girls, that he has told her that he ‘trained’ since she was 14, those were his words.
Kitti has revealed that she saw that the ‘girl’ was dressed like her, that she was saying the things that she would say and her mannerisms were like hers. As per Kitti, in one instance, Kelly has begun recording her while she was undressed in a chair and then a ‘girl’ walked into the room.
“He had her crawl on the floor towards me and perform oral sex on me and he said this is my f–king pet. I trained her. She’s gonna teach you how to be with me.” Lovell Jones— Kelly’s former backup singer has asked her that how did she defend herself against someone who’s been honing their skills as a predator for 25 years and one of the most famous as well as successful artists in the music industry.
As per BBC, Kitti has earlier mentioned Kelly’s alleged ‘training’ and in October, told Rolling Stone: “He was like a drill sergeant even when he was pleasuring me.” She has claimed that he has made comments like “I gotta train you.” At that time, she has told the outlet that he was telling her how to bend her back or move her leg here.
