Disney has given the third and the final trailer of Nutcracker and the Four Realms this week. The third trailer has featured the best look of the movie yet there is a comparative release date. The trailer had given the glimpse of the few unseen effect shots which were missing previously and with the impressive action beats. The trailer looks breathtakingly gorgeous and vividly colourful, and the third trailer has highlighted a bit of menace along with the jeopardy which involves the entire “You’re a princess!” fantasy.
The first trailer of the movie was played in the theatres with Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp, but the trailer didn’t see the light of the day when it comes to the online tease. This might exactly be the reason why people got to see a “new” trailer of the Disney movie in less than one month which followed the much delayed second trailer.
The movie, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms is kind of a relative freebie and a major Disney release because with this movie Disney aims to close out this year with an entertaining movie. If the upcoming movie tanks in the box office then it will be a message to Disney that they need to find a new solution to craft successful live-action flicks that are not based on the classic animated films made by Disney and the ones which aren’t specifically tied to the franchise of Pirates of the Caribbean, the Star Wars saga and most importantly Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms will not be hitting theatres until the 2nd of November 2018. The 3rd and the final trailer features a spine-chilling cover of “Just A Girl” by No Doubt. Young Clara, played by Mackenzie Foy from Twilight, is seeing stepping into the magical world and finds herself with Sugar Plum Fairy played by Keira Knightley and a dashing soldier Jayden Fowora-Knight and Mother Ginger played by Helen Mirren.
