Roseanne Barr has recently revealed that she is planning to move to Israel as she wants to avoid hearing about the world premiere of ‘The Conners.’ The American actress, writer, comedian, and television producer has said that she has made plans to move abroad, Barr gave this news to Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, her longtime friend during his recent podcast instalment. She said that she isn’t looking forward to the snip off of ‘Roseanne’ rather she will be halfway around the world – “I have an opportunity to go to Israel for a few months and study with my favourite teachers over there.”
Barr continued saying that – “And that’s where I’m going to go and probably move somewhere there and study with my favourite teachers. I have saved a few pennies, and I’m so lucky I can go. It’s my great joy and privilege to be a Jewish woman.”
Truthfully, she isn’t making the trip just to learn things; she wants to get away and restrain herself from making any comment that surrounds the reboot of Roseanne. She has said that she’s neutral and that’s something she always does. She will be staying neutral only because she wants to stay away from it period. She isn’t cursing anything, and neither is she interested in wishing good for her enemies.
The news of her moving to Israel followed after the announcement of the cancellation of Roseanne was finalized and the franchise will be turned into The Conners. The show was cancelled due to some offensive tweets made by Barr which were perfectly aimed at Valerie Jarrett, the former adviser of Obama. The president of ABC Entertainment, Channing Dungey announced that “Roseanne’s Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show.”
Barr has been seen publicly apologizing to Jarret. The actress has previously blamed the offensive tweets of her on many other things such as Ambien.
